The BVA Fast Track B/B+ training combines the pre-recorded Best Value Basics Course (B-Certification) with live group coaching through video conference (B+), led by an experienced A+ Best Value Expert. Deepen and extend your Best Value knowledge so you can apply Best Value independently. A considerable part of the training includes the philosophy, the foundation of Best Value, which is necessary for a successful application of the Best Value approach. The training is completed with exams that leads to an internationally accredited B+ certificate.

Very good teacher! 

This course has made me understand the methodology and concept of ‘Best Value’: it is an approach, not a procurement strategy. I have found ways of using dominant information to demonstrate expertise and to minimize decision making. To have people on both sides (vendor and client) in the course is a plus.

What is the essence?

In 3 weeks you get to learn all about the Best Value principles and about the guidelines for application of Best Value in projects and organizations. We do this by means of cases and exchange of experiences of participants and trainers. We prepare you in an interactive way for the B+ exam (100% of participants pass). Also you will be given a head start in your A certification.

Your skills after the training?

After finishing the Best Value Approach Fast Track you can:

  • apply the Best value approach in projects, for example in tender teams, bid teams, assessment teams, in project management and as a key person in the Best Value process.
  • understand and apply the basic principles of Best Value

This training is suitable for everyone looking for a better understanding of the Best Value approach with the aim to apply Best value independently. Both on vendor or client side and in various roles, such as procurement, account- and project management and sales. The training is especially suitable for procurement managers, contract managers, tender/bid managers and key persons like project leaders, service delivery managers, technical managers and design leaders. Requirements: willing to invest 2 x 2-3 hours a week for 3 weeks (and 3 hours before to take a pre-recorded course)
